About Book Cast Ng
Book Cast Ng is a community of readers, writers and art lovers across Africa and the diaspora. We gather on X Spaces, in virtual panels and at live events to talk about the books and stories shaping our world.
Our story
What started as a small X Space for book lovers has grown into a home for literary conversations — weekly discussions, author features, open mics and reader-led reviews.
We believe African literature deserves more rooms where readers can discover new authors, share honest reviews, and connect with the people behind the pages.
Why we gather
- Create space for African literary voices
- Connect readers with authors and publishers
- Celebrate storytelling in all its forms
- Build a community that lasts beyond any single event
Our values
Champion African stories
We center literature, art and voices from the continent and diaspora.
Build community
Reading is better together. Our Spaces are rooms for connection, not broadcasting.
Honest conversation
We value candid reviews, thoughtful disagreement and open dialogue.
Support creators
Author features and collaborations put writers, poets and publishers in the spotlight.
